THE PABULUM PARTNERS

aBOUT pABULUM enTERTAINMENT

"When intellectual nourishment meets entertainment, it's like divine revelation coming from the most unlikely of places... "

Pabulum Entertainment was founded in 2016 by Betty Bema and Gloria Altonnia in their pursuit to contribute diverse storytelling and create opportunities for underserved content creators, actors, and executives that bring these stories to life.

The company’s mission is to produce inspiring, conversation-starter content that educates and entertains. Our vision is to be the most impactful producer of culturally relevant content, while empowering historically overlooked communities.

The goals of Pabulum Entertainment serve to improve representation and cultural diversity in entertainment by aiding content creators, actors and support personnel of various backgrounds in building a brand, portfolio, and audience. We strive to be the go-to destination for creative and thought-provoking storytelling in which people worldwide can connect.

Betty Bema officially began her career in media entertainment interning at a radio station in the heart of Texas. The experience would be her first encounter developing and producing for radio (and eventually television), where she produced the 4-hour audio program, The Midnight Snack Show, and a call-and-request music video countdown program. While obtaining her education at The University of Texas at Austin, and later her MBA, she built a portfolio of experience in development, production, distribution and marketing through a variety of roles at some of the top legacy companies in the entertainment industry at the time, including MTV, BET Networks, Universal Music, and Paramount Pictures.

A big advocate of giving back, she has dedicated her services to non-profits Big Sister Big Brother, Habitat for Humanity, AIDS Walk Los Angeles, Big Sunday, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
